Having discussed the idea of a training workshop to enhance the business skills of the analysts in my team, Paul quickly tailored a day of knowledge delivery and exercises that was exactly what I was looking for. In delivering the workshop, Paul was engaging and personable, clearly demonstrating his experience and knowledge in the area of analytics application and management. Paul ran an Insight Consultancy training course for the Customer Insight team at Sun Life. The course focused on ensuring that the Insight output is used and is useful for the business by looking at the end to end process: from asking the right questions of the stakeholder at the start to help get to the business question through to presenting the output in a compelling way to ensure key recommendations are taken on. The course highlighted key points around the softer skills required to be a successful Insight professional but set in the realities and challenges faced by those who work with data and analysis on a daily basis. The course had a nice balance of theory and practical activity to bring this to life. All in all it was a really valuable and useful course.
