Paul Laughlin, founder & MD of Laughlin Consultancy, chaired Data Insight Leaders Summit 2017 in Barcelona.

This was the second such annual event. Over 100 senior data insight leaders from across UK & Europe gathered in Barcelona for an engaging conference, full of interactive content. All agreed it was a very productive time and great opportunity to hear the reality of progress and challenges faced by other practitioner leaders. Those attending included CDOs, Heads of Analytics, Data Science or BI, as well as directors, plus other senior data or analytics roles.

Paul’s chairing was praised, as was the varied and relevant agenda designed by Worldwide Business Research. This was designed in response to a recent survey of data insight leaders. Those survey results are also available for download.

If you were unable to attend this premier event for Data Insight Leaders, Paul has also provided two daily debriefs of insights from the summit. Those are available on his blog, Customer Insight Leader:

Data Insight Leaders Summit 2017 Day One – a debrief

After a pause in blogging, for a much-needed holiday, I’ve returned with a debrief from day one of Data Insight Leaders Summit 2017. It’s a joy to be back out in Barcelona chairing the second incarnation of this very useful annual event.

Data Insight Leaders 2017 Day Two – the final countdown

This is continuing my report from Data Insight Leaders 2017 Day Two. That is, day two of a useful Summit (that I’m chairing), held in Barcelona. In this post I summarise this final day of an enjoyable event. I’m not just saying it’s good because I chaired this conference, honest!
